Vernon Norman Kicks Off Summer Campaign with Successful Weekend of Events in Missouri
June 30, 2026
University City, MO – Vernon Norman, candidate for Missouri State Senate District 14, launched his summer campaign efforts last weekend with three engaging community events that highlighted his commitment to commonsense conservative leadership, voter education, and connecting with families across North Saint Louis County.
The weekend began with a productive meet-and-greet last Thursday in University City, generously hosted by a longtime Republican supporter. Norman shared insights from his 15+ years in politics and his experiences living and working in major metropolitan areas. These perspectives have shaped his ability to reach voters the Republican Party has not always connected with, while focusing on practical solutions for local families.
On Friday, Norman participated in the Maryland Heights Township Republicans annual picnic. He joined other candidates and community leaders in discussing their visions for the district and key issues surrounding the August 4th ballot initiatives. Norman emphasized the importance of civic engagement, reminding attendees that while voting is a fundamental right, the greater responsibility lies in staying informed, getting involved, and encouraging neighbors to participate in the democratic process.
The weekend concluded with the Inaugural Flag Day Family Picnic at Heman Park in University City. Families enjoyed games, food, and fellowship while adults engaged in thoughtful discussions on critical local issues, including improving educational outcomes, addressing infrastructure needs, strengthening public safety, and examining the potential impacts of proposals such as the CityCounty Merger. Norman stressed his dedication to ensuring all voters, regardless of party or background, have clear, factual information to make informed voting decisions.
“This kickoff weekend was a resounding success and a powerful reminder of the energy and generosity within our community,” said Norman. “I’m committed to building a movement rooted in real conversations and practical leadership that puts Missouri families first. Together, we can deliver accountability in education, stronger public safety, fiscal responsibility, and opportunities for job creators and workforce development in Saint Louis.”
Norman, a husband, father, and local real estate investor who has revitalized neighborhoods in North Saint Louis County, brings fresh perspective and proven results to the race. His platform focuses on six core commitments: putting Missouri families first, improving education through accountability and choice, strengthening public safety, ensuring fiscal fairness, supporting job creators, and promoting workforce development.
The August 4, 2026 Primary Election is approaching quickly. Eligible voters must register by July 8, 2026.
